New Zealand kawakawa is known as 'the pharmacy of the forest' and is a sacred plant used by Maori for centuries to aid healing of many skin conditions. Calm Balm is loaded with kawakawa extract, alongside calendula, which is one of the most popular plants for healing skin as it is effective for cuts, cracked skin, sunburn and insect bites. Comfrey oil has been used since ancient times on poorly healing wounds and mango butter has incredible skin softening properties. Neem reduces redness and is a natural pain killer and skin emollient and licorice root has soothing, anti-inflammatory properties. The blend of pure essential oils are calming to the skin and the mind - and they smell really lovely!
Useful for so many different skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and dry, rough patches. It prevents moisture loss and creates a protective barrier against external irritants. Also perfect as a go-to for the first aid cupboard for insect bites, scrapes, cuts and bruises. Just use small amounts and rub in lightly (don't over-work irritated skin).
Always patch test on a small area of skin first. Comfrey is an incredibly fast healer and so this balm should be used on skin that is clean and not infected.
Fabula products are handmade and contain NO synthetic fragrances, sulphates, parabens or harmful colours.
